A Serious Message

Matthew
23:1-3 -- "Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: All therefore
whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do."
There are a multitude of individuals in the world today who have their
various Christian or Jewish ministries who are trying to
"sit in Moses' seat."
They publish their books, and broadcast their TV shows,
and they say that they have "authority" to preach God's Word -- and, if
you noticed, they often teach conflicting messages! The big question for
people today is, Which person is teaching Truth? Which of these
ministries is really teaching the correct interpretation of all aspects of
the Bible? Which ministry and which teacher of which denomination should
I listen to? And then there's the Really Big Question:
Is there
anyone here at the End of Time who may have been clearly chosen by God to
"sit in Moses' seat"?
Jesus taught in
Matthew 24 for us to be careful to not be "deceived,"
because He knew that there would be false teachers and false doctrines a
plenty by the time we reached the year 2000! Some of these false
doctrines are easy to discern, and some are not. Some teachers espouse
outrageous doctrines that are obviously contrary to Scripture (like God
will save "everybody" and no one will be lost), and then there are other
folks who honestly believe that they are teaching "The Truth," but, bless
their hearts, they have no idea that they are actually teaching error.
The fact of the matter is that human beings can come to incorrect
conclusions regarding the Bible -- it happens! As much as I would like it
to be otherwise, the people in our pulpits and the people who run various
high-profile Christian ministries are only human. Yes, many of these
people deeply love the Lord, and many of them have done tremendous works
for God -- but they still might be "wrong" in certain things that they
teach.
Should we be concerned over these "errors?" Yes, any error that goes
against God must be avoided, and we must let the Truth of God take
precedence over all our loyalties to the imperfect human beings who have
attempted to relay "God's Truth" to us -- because Total Truth is an
extension of God, and in the long run THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS!
I wish to
make a simple observation that might enable us to know "who" God may have
chosen to be the individual to "sit in Moses' seat" -- and we do this by
looking at a list of things that Moses did:

Moses grew up in Egypt, the land of the pyramids
Moses crossed the Red Sea
Moses went to Mount Sinai
Moses received the Ten Commandments from God
Moses was told to build the Ark of the Covenant
Moses was told to build the Sanctuary
Moses taught "the law" to the people
Moses died on the verge of going into the Promised Land |
Now look at
the list of things that Ron Wyatt has done:

There was something else that Moses and Ron had in common, and that was
how "humble" each of them were -- in the 22 years that Ron Wyatt performed
this wonderful work for the Lord, he always maintained a very humble
personality. It would have been very easy for him to become proud or
boastful, but Ron did not do that. Both Moses and Ron Wyatt were
extremely humble men.
When asked "why" he was chosen to do this work, Ron replied:

"If 10 different people found 10 different major archaeological finds,
people could say, 'Well, they were lucky, or smart, etc.,' but for one
person to find all of these things is not humanly possible. Not even
the most brilliant and celebrated. But God uses 'The
simple things to confound the wise.' In choosing a
simple, average person, He leaves no room for doubt as to 'who' is
actually doing these things. Perhaps He chose me because I was
willing -- I really don't know. But I can say that there is no one on
earth who could be more grateful than I to be allowed to work with
these things." |
Ron Wyatt was a simple and humble man, and I can personally attest to
this fact.
While Ron was alive I never talked with him about how his work might
pertain to Matthew
23:1-3 -- because I knew it would be like putting him on
"too high a pedestal," so we never talked about it. But now that Ron is
gone, I feel that the subject is very appropriate to discuss. Why?
Because it is our duty as diligent Christians to search out spiritual
Truth.
Over the 10 years that I knew Ron Wyatt, I had several occasions to
talk with him and listen to what he taught about the Scriptures, and it is
my testimony that I came away from those discussions being 100% in
agreement with Ron Wyatt's conclusions about ALL the major doctrines in
the Bible. I concluded that Ron Wyatt was teaching the Truth -- it was
100% biblical -- and the Lord had also given Ron Wyatt the proper
interpretation of End Time prophecy! Unfortunately, the world reacted very
slowly to "sitting up and paying attention" to Ron and his wonderful
discoveries, and accordingly he never got around to being able to share
all the things that he wished to speak about -- so this job has been
passed on to us, those who knew Ron and those who worked closely with Ron,
because we understand what he taught and we have come to the very same
spiritual conclusions in regard to these very important Bible doctrines
and interpretations of prophecy.
It is man's duty to study and learn about God -- and we MUST be able to
come to the right conclusions! The only way this will happen is by doing
an extremely prayerful study of God's Word and let the Bible communicate
its Truth to us, and, if it is required, we must be ready to put aside our
preconceived notions and our various traditions and our "pet theories"
that we have grown attached to, and we must let God's Word and God's Truth
be the FINAL AUTHORITY in our lives! For those who depend upon finding
themselves "a teacher," it is very important to locate the correct teacher
-- or people will just become indoctrinated into error.
So, who may
have been appointed to "sit in Moses' seat"?
There are THOUSANDS of pastors and preachers and TV ministers and
religious book authors and religious radio talk show hosts, etc., etc. --
THOUSANDS OF THEM! I have been able to glean various degrees of Truth and
get a blessing from nearly all of these preachers and teachers -- but did
any of these people show me how the pyramids were built? Did any of these
people show me the Red Sea crossing site?? Did any of these people show
me the real Mount Sinai?? Did any of these people find the Ark of the
Covenant??
There has
been only one person on this planet
who has done all of this!
Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by "eternal" fire, and the Bible tells
us that it was an "example" of the ultimate destruction of the wicked in
the Lake of Fire -- so don't you think that it might be important to
listen to what the man who discovered Sodom and Gomorrah has to say about
eternal hellfire?
Lots of people are agreeing that Jebel el Lawz in northwest Saudi
Arabia and that it is the real Mt. Sinai -- so don't you think it might be
important to listen to what the man who discovered Mt. Sinai might have to
say about God's Law, etc.?
THE
CONCLUSION IN THE MATTER

If you are not a serious
Christian in search of God's Truth, DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER !
Satan has spent the past 6,000 years attempting to get mankind to turn
from God, either by outright sinning, or by "fooling" the professed
believers of God into thinking that they are doing what God wishes them to
do, when in reality people are NOT doing what God wishes them to do. Satan
is sly, Satan is the deceiver -- and he loves it when people think they
know it all! As Ron used to say, "If you think that you are too smart to
be fooled by Satan, he's already got you fooled!"
I have come to the conclusion that these are two of the most important
verses in the Bible:
"My people are destroyed for
LACK OF KNOWLEDGE: because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also
reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast
forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." Hosea
4:6
"There is a way which
seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."
Proverbs 14:12

There are certain things that people will NEED TO KNOW if they wish to
make it safely through the End of Time, like being able to identify the
proper interpretation of the
Mark of the Beast
and being able to fulfill
Revelation 14:12
(which is the only way to overcome the Mark of the Beast)! Ron Wyatt was
used of God in a mighty way, and it is my firm opinion that God also gave
Ron Wyatt both the PROPER KNOWLEDGE of all of the main Bible doctrines and
the PROPER INTERPRETATION of End Time prophecy in regard to such subjects
as the 70 weeks of
Daniel 9, the
Millennium,
the anti-Christ,
and the 2nd Coming,
etc.!
God KNEW that these wonderful discoveries would be a very important
witness to the entire world just before the Lord returns. The Truth is
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to God -- so why would the Lord let "lying doctrines"
be included in with this final witness of
Noah's Ark,
Sodom & Gomorrah,
Mt. Sinai
and the Ark of the
Covenant?? NO, GOD WOULD NOT DO THIS TO MANKIND! God
impressed Ron Wyatt with the Truth that the world needed to know, and
thereby appointed him to "sit in Moses' seat."
This is NOT a "boast," and it is not being said to make somebody's ego
feel better -- it's just the Truth of the matter. It's a known fact that
God often uses common people to do things for Him, and Ron was just
another one of those many people. All of us who have worked closely with
Ron are also just common folk -- but we were there to help Ron and we were
willing to do a certain work, and I think that it is obvious that this
work was A VERY SPECIAL WORK! Ron was so humble that he never told anyone
he was chosen to "sit in Moses' seat" -- this was a spiritual Truth that
was left for you and me to discern.

How long
does the world have left?
The events of
September 11, 2001
are going to usher in the End of Time -- from now on the U.S.A. is no
longer going to be quite so "lamblike," America is going to begin speaking
more and more powerfully as it seriously begins its fight against the
terrorists of the world. "Wars and rumors of wars" will escalate -- and
the End of Time and the 2nd Coming of Jesus is very, VERY close!
Time is VERY
SHORT -- what do you need to know to be right with God?
As I mentioned on the bottom
of my Carl Sagan
page,
"ethnocentrism" is rampant among the human race --
everybody seems to have joined "this group" or "that group," and each of
these groups thinks that "they know the TRUTH" -- but common sense tells
us that they all can't
be right -- only ONE of these groups is going to have the
facts straight.
Here is a list of basic
religious groups that you have the option of joining:
Christian, Jewish, Moslem,
Buddhism, New Age, Atheist.
Which group initially had
the duty of sharing God's Truth with mankind?
The Jews.
When the Jewish people
rejected their Messiah, Yeshua/Jesus, who spread God's Truth?
The Christians.
What was the Truth the
Christians were to teach?
They taught that Jesus/Yeshua
was the Messiah, and that mankind needed to repent of their sins and
obey God's Law -- and God's grace would enable them to obey.
Did the gentiles like
learning all these "Jewish" things?
The Jews were a hated and
misunderstood people -- and when Christianity finally became popular in
Europe in the 4th and 5th centuries, the Christian leaders of the 4th and
5th centuries did not like being seen as "2nd generation Jewish holy men"
-- they taught from a "Jewish" holy book, and taught about a "Jewish" Son
of God -- so in an attempt to convert more pagans and not look too much
like "2nd generation Jewish holy men," the Emperor Constantine passed the
world's first Sunday Law in 321 AD.
When was the 7th day Sabbath
created?
It was made during Creation
Week, 2500 years before a "Jew" existed; Abraham was the very first
"Jew."
How did "Sunday" become the
day of worship?
The Catholic Church of Rome
passed laws to stop Christians from "Judaizing" on the 7th day and make
people observe just "Sun-day" -- and these laws intensified over the years
wherein Christians were ordered to obey "upon pain of death"!
Revelation 14:9 warns us not
to accept the Mark of the Beast (a false system of worship) -- how do we
avoid the Mark of the Beast?
Verse 12 tells us that if we
wish to avoid the Mark of the Beast we must "keep the commandments of God"
and "have faith in Jesus" -- so there will be a people at the End of Time
who keep the Ten Commandments, ALL TEN OF THEM.
Which of these churches
keeps all of God's Ten Commandments?
Catholic, Lutheran,
Episcopal, Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses?
The answer:
None of them keeps the
4th Commandment.
What is the 4th Commandment?
Exodus 20:8-11
-- "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor,
and do all thy work; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy
God, in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, they manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy
stranger that is within they gates; For in six days the Lord made heaven
and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day;
wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it."
What does the Catholic
Church say about changing the Sabbath?
"Sunday is a Catholic
institution, and its claims to observance can be defended only on Catholic
principles ... From beginning to end of Scripture there is not a single
passage that warrants the transfer of weekly public worship from the last
day of the week [Saturday] to the first [Sunday]." --
Catholic Press, Sydney,
Australia, August 1900.
"If Protestants would follow
the Bible, they should worship God on the Sabbath day [Saturday]. In
keeping Sunday they are following a law of the Catholic Church." -- Albert
Smith, Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, replying for the
Cardinal in a letter dated February 10, 1920.
(There are NUMEROUS other
quotes we could show you!)
Is there any verse in the
New Testament that tells us to worship God on Sunday?
There are only 8 texts in the
New Testament that mention "the first day of the week" -- and not one of
them tells us that the 7th day has been cancelled and that we are now to
worship on the pagan day of the sun, "Sun-day." Paul directed believers
to look over their secular affairs on the first day of the week in
1Corrinthians 16:2,
and the meeting held in
Acts 20:5-12
was a Saturday night meeting, NOT a Sunday daytime church meeting. The
entire Jewish culture was set up around Sabbath-keeping -- if the new
Christians were to now start keeping "Sun-day," the New Testament would
have been filled with controversies and arguments about cancelling the 7th
day and switching over to the 1st day!
What does the Bible tell us
about the Sabbath?
Isaiah 66:23
tells us that "all flesh" in the New Earth will worship God each Sabbath
throughout all eternity!
If the 7th
day Sabbath is so important to God, don't you think that it is important
for you to
learn about it?

Ron Wyatt was used of God in
a wonderful way -- and when I said that Ron Wyatt qualifies to
"sit in Moses' seat,"
I meant that the TRUTHS that Ron knew are the biblical TRUTHS that people
need to know, and that it would be a wise thing for people to LISTEN to
what Ron had to teach!
Did only Ron Wyatt know these TRUTHS?? No, there is an
entire denomination of 13+ million people who know these very same
biblical TRUTHS. Ron did not have "his own private interpretation" of the
main doctrines of the Bible, Ron belonged to a church that believed in all
these doctrines!
Ron Wyatt
was a Seventh-day Adventist. The only reason that God let Ron Wyatt find
the Ark of the Covenant is that Ron Wyatt believed in keeping all **10**
of the Ten Commandments -- and that includes the 4th Commandment!
